Between being very busy at work, and being under the weather the last weekend, I haven't been out to shoot since the basketball games in McPherson two weekends ago.
Shortly after the games I posted the photos from the women's game. Here are the photos from the men's game.

Broken Glass
I spent a lot of time this weekend sorting pictures. Among other things I did my semi-annual upload of images to the copyright office.
I have as set of images from a ghost town that we shot last summer that I hadn't worked through. This broken window pane caught my fancy. I hope you enjoy this image.

Photo Adventure - The Soo Paw
It's a dark night. The moon won't rise for another couple of hours. Out on a rural highway an oasis of light appears to the weary traveler. But look at that sign! Have we gone back to the '50s?
In a way, you have! The Soo Paw motel has stood here for at least 60 years, and this sign has been here for most, if not all, of that time.
While visiting with family out in Nebraska, I headed down the road one night to this spot on Nebraska Highway 25. When I came past the motel on my way in a couple days earlier things appear to be in better repair than some other trips. When I get there this evening there are trucks and pickups parked in front of most of the doors. Must be the new grain plant down the road.
Enjoy these images from the past!

Sunset on the Plains
I'm in Nebraska this week to be with family. Monday evening, after a cloudy and blustery day, the skies began to clear. The sun and a band of clouds on the horizon combined to make some great, golden light. One of the highlights of the sunset was the upward 'god beam' that happened when the orb of the sun was divided by the cloud.
